Short Runs → 2022 'Of Another World' Syrah.
Wild fermented on full skins in two 1200L open vats. Twice daily punch downs by hand, exchanging human and vinous energies. Pressed a little 'sweet' (a few days before the end of primary fermentation) to seven aged 300L barrels for the final stages of primary fermentation and full malolactic fermentation. Barrel-aged for 18 months with rackings reducing the volume to five pristine barrels of cosmic liquid, before finally bringing together for bottling.
Ripe, dark red fruits - plum, red cherry, cranberry - with subtle florals. Light grip and intensity of the mystic. Balance, the key.
