CWH Event Terms

Drinks will be available by the glass or bottle, as per our current private events drink menu.

Community Wine House (CWH)/Minimum Wines is an all-ages venue. Any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. In line with our Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) obligations, alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18, and minors must not consume alcohol purchased or supplied to another guest. 

Our cancellation policy is as follows: 
Deposit: the event deposit is non-refundable 
Cancellation: If you cancel your event less than 7 days prior to the event date, then we are unable to provide a refund; your entire event fee will be forfeited. All

Events 
Max pax: 200  
No live music (if music is loud please close roller door + glass door) 
Seating plan: see diagram showing how many pax can be accommodated in each section.  
Dogs and kids welcome inside and out: please note we do not have high-chairs 
The event organiser is responsible for the conduct and supervision of guests, including children and young people attending the event 
Please note we don’t have high chairs 
Please note: Our toilet is not yet wheelchair accessible. Accessible facilities are coming soon 
No BYO alcohol is permitted unless explicitly agreed by CWH in writing. 
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the venue 
Please report any damage or breakages promptly. CWH may seek reimbursement for damage beyond reasonable wear and tear 
For activities involving external instructors, vendors, equipment or higher-risk activities, CWH may request evidence of appropriate public liability insurance before confirming the event 

Drinks + Closing 
Last drinks: 11pm.  
Drinks must be finished by 11:30pm.  
Guests to leave at 11:30 
Drinking Inside and Outside  
Please remain within the yellow areas on the seating plan — see diagram.  
Please note: when consuming alcohol, you need to be within our designated areas, i.e., inside the warehouse or in the highlighted outdoor areas, as per the diagram on the final page.  

Food + Drinks 
Food and drinks as per our food and drink menu.  
Ordering food: If we are closed and you require additional hot food in addition to our food offering, we partner with Primo Pizza — please let us know if you would like this option and we place the order for you.

Dietary requirements: We will always do our best to accommodate, but please note we can’t guarantee food is completely free from allergens, as our kitchen is small and there is shared prep. 

Heating + Cooling 
We have heating in the bar area in winter.  
We do not have air-conditioning, we do have industrial fans  

Community Events
Free events only: no ticketing.  
Inside use only  
Please don’t move furniture 
A CWH team member will show you the lights, heating/cooling, bathroom, bins, brooms, bathroom, bins, exits and emergency information. 
If there are any spills, breakages or damage, make the area safe and notify CWH 
Keep access and exit areas clear at all times 
Place rubbish in the appropriate bins 
Leave the space as you found it 
Call CWH phone when leaving so we can close the warehouse before you leave 
As this is a private community event, the CWH bar will not be open during your event to serve any drinks or food 
You and your guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks

Branded Event/Private Hire
Food must be pre-ordered 
A minimum spend of $4,000 applies to private event hire. All food and beverages purchased through Community Wine House contribute towards the minimum spend (including pre-ordered food). If the minimum spend is not reached, the remaining balance will be charged at the conclusion of the event. 
Please pay a 50% deposit fee on completion of t&cs  

Collabs + Pop-ups
Community Wine House retains $10 from each ticket sold. 
We’ll run and manage the bar throughout the event, with all bar sales managed by Community Wine House.
