CURRENT TOPIC

'VORFREUDE'

Vorfreude | German
/vor.freu.de/

: noun (feminine) / : The joyful feeling of anticipation

~

i caught my breath
& called that life

spit out words into small cans
prepare knives for the cutting
of orange peels and doorways

i arrive at a space
that no longer needs
autumn or spring, this forest
of telling each other the truth

– Jamila Woods

The Community Voice is our place to share the wonder of our community. You.

  • Our zines are dedicated to our Community's (your) voices!
  • Every season we seek a diversity of submissions in response to our current topic.
  • You can approach the topic in whatever way you feel. Respond in text, sound, colour, photos, pixels; there are no boundaries. (Yes, we will find a way to print your sounds!)
  • Our current topic (for our upcoming Winter zine) is →VORFREUDE←, German for, 'The joyful feeling of anticipation'.
  • Submissions closed midnight, Thursday April 27th. We are currently designing our next Zine!

Each selected piece is:
